Charlie's wife finds the letter and thinks he has a secret lover and Ambrose's wife believes he has an illegitimate child. Controversy arises in the park between Charlie and his wife and Ambrose and his wife. It is resolved at the end, but Charlie sparks another fight between the other couple by showing his friend's wife the love letter that was in his pocket.

In That Distant Place is a 2009 Chinese drama television series. The TV series is set in the 1970s during and just after the Cultural Revolution. It follows four childhood friends - three males and one female - as they joined the Kunlun Division of the People's Liberation Army and are posted to Ürümqi and the Kunlun Mountains. The series chronicles their army and love lives as the two of the males become border guards and the female a combat medic. The series debuted on CCTV-1 on 26 July 2009 and comprises 29 episodes.

A Place in the Sun is a British Channel 4 lifestyle programme about buying property abroad. It most often focuses on places in southern Europe, but in recent years has also featured a number of places in other areas of the world. Generally, each episode of the programme shows a British couple wishing to buy a property in a sunny foreign country are shown three or four places found by the show's researchers. The presenter gives the couple useful local information relating to buying, running and maintaining a property in this particular location. After viewing each property the couple are asked for their opinions. At the end of the show they are asked if they have a favourite property and we're finally told if they went on to buy the property or another in the region. It was a response to the growth in Britons buying property abroad. In the last few years, it has shown destinations as diverse as Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia, Canada, Australia, South Africa, the Caribbean and even Cape Verde.

The Women of Brewster Place

The Women of Brewster Place is an American television miniseries that was broadcast on March 19 and 20, 1989 on ABC. The miniseries is based upon the critically acclaimed 1982 novel of the same name by Gloria Naylor. It was produced by Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions with a teleplay by Karen Hall. The miniseries stars an ensemble cast of African-American actors and actresses such as Cicely Tyson, Oprah Winfrey, Jackée Harry, Robin Givens, Lynn Whitfield, Paula Kelly, Lonette McKee, Paul Winfield, Mary Alice, Olivia Cole, William Allen Young, and a brief early appearance by a young Larenz Tate. The miniseries received such a good reception that it led to a weekly series entitled Brewster Place. However, it was short-lived due to low ratings. It is frequently broadcast on TV One and BET. The show's theme song was performed by American R&B singer Vesta Williams, who performed both the opening and closing credits.

Peyton Place: The Next Generation is a 1985 television film directed by Larry Elikann. The film is based on the TV series Peyton Place, which aired from 1964 to 1969, and the plot is set twenty years after the original sage. The film contains many of the original cast members, and there were hopes of inspiring a TV series, but such a program was never made.
