Beast Wars: Transformers, titled Beasties: Transformers in Canada, is a Canadian CG animated television series that debuted in 1996, serving as the flagship of the Transformers: Beast Wars franchise. The series was set in the future of the "original" Transformers universe as a sequel to the first Transformers series. The Beast Wars TV series was produced by Mainframe Entertainment of Canada; its story editors were Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio. All three seasons are currently available on DVD in the USA and other Region 1 territories. In Australia, to coincide with the show's tenth anniversary in 2006, Madman Entertainment released all three seasons in Region 4 format. These boxsets include "world exclusive" special features, such as commentaries and interviews with the voice actors. The production designer for the show, Clyde Klotz, won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation in 1997 for his work on Beast Wars.

Digimon Fusion, known in Japan as Digimon Xros Wars and in Malaysia as Digimon Fusion Battles, is the sixth anime children television series in the Digimon franchise by Akiyoshi Hongō, produced by Toei Animation. It follows a boy named Taiki Kudō who utilizes the power of joining together Digimon in order to save the Digital World. The series' was broadcast on TV Asahi and Asahi Broadcasting Corporation between July 6, 2010 and March 25, 2012, divided into three seasons, titled Xros Wars, The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms and The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time respectively. The series has been licensed outside of Asia by Saban Brands and is internationally by MarVista Entertainment. An English-language version, produced by Saban, began airing in North America on Nickelodeon from September 7, 2013 and will later air on The CW's Vortexx programming block. An alternate English-language version began airing on Disney XD in Malaysia from December 8, 2012.
Wedding Wars is a television show currently running on VH1 in which engaged couples compete to win their ultimate wedding. The grand prize is a $100,000 wedding and a $25,000 nest egg. The contestants live in a similar conditions as CBS' Survivor. There is a gift challenge, in which couples compete in competitions and the winner wins a prize for their wedding, such as bouquets, tuxedos, and wedding dresses. There is also a security challenge, in which couples compete in competitions and the winner is safe from elimination. The winner of the security challenge receives a cake-topper. The couples then go to Couple's Chapel, a ceremony where couples vote off other couples, and the couple with the most votes is eliminated. The show is hosted by Michele Merkin.

It stars John Stamos as the lead character, wedding planner Shel, Eric Dane as his brother, James Brolin as the Governor of Maine, Bonnie Somerville as the Governor's daughter, a gay marriage supporter, and Sean Maher as Ted, boyfriend of Shel. It premiered on Monday, December 11, 2006 on the A&E Network. It was well received by gay audiences and Stamos appeared on the cover of The Advocate to promote the film. Although it is not the first television movie to have gay themes, it is the first about gay marriage. The movie was filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
